They're baby dinosaurswe just put in a new coop and when we pulled out the old one there was a lizard hiding underneath. One of my hens grabbed it and I watched 5 of them fight and tear it into little edible pieces. They are vicious little creatures haha.
Technically it wouldn't. Thats why I recommend feeding chickens FRESH raw meat from local butcher shops. That is incorrect. Any preservative would have to be disclosed on the label.
Per USDA and FDA, it would.Technically it wouldn't.
I'll add that before the next time I post this somewhereHemp seed is missing from the 'yes' foods.
Hemp seed is a complete food source. It’s especially good for chickens with over 23% plant based protein!
Hemp Hen is 100% Australian rolled hemp seed. It contains both the husk and kernel which contain natural protein, oil and fibre. Hemp contains the full spectrum of amino acids including all essential amino acids. Also vitamins and minerals, antioxidants, anti-inflammatories and a healthy ratio of Omegas 3, 6 and 9.
Good for Chooks.
Hens need a good source of protein to lay eggs. Hemp is a good source of plant-based protein they need every day.
How do I use Hemp Hen?
Mix 10 to 20% Hemp Hen with your chicken’s regular balanced diet. Hemp seed is extremely palatable and they’ll probably prefer it over their regular feed. Feeding Hemp Hen every day gives best results so pre-mix feed before you fill their feeder.
Also suitable for cats, dogs, horses, and humans!

And sometimes I do pick up meats that say USDA, FDA ect. and it has preservatives in them. So I guess just make sure it doesn't have any weird ingredients or preservatives in them before feeding it to your flockPer USDA and FDA, it would.
Those who say feeding uncooked rice are perpetuation the myth. Those are just a few of the links I found saying that it is unhealthy and sometimes fatal.
My friend sent this to me and she does actually have a website and I'm pretty sure she has posted it on there. I did get permission from her to post it on hereI think they just pasted from the website for information. I found It valuable!
