Whatbreed am I?

Well your problem then is that you spelled Araucana wrong.

A lot of hatcheries claim to sell "Araucanas" with muffs and beards, but they're Easter Eggers, which are mutts.

Araucanas and Ameraucanas are both separate breeds, and NOT mutts like Easter Eggers. Look it up, there's even the Ameraucana Breeder's Club, with its own APA Standard of Perfection, as well as the Araucana Breeder's Club, also, with its own standard. Read them, and you'll see that Araucanas do NOT have a beard or muffs, but instead tufts.

It would help people take them seriously if they spelled the names of the breeds that they've claimed to been raising for many years correctly....wouldn't it.

Reminds me of how many people argue to pips&peeps of all people that their EE's, who they claim to be breeding and showing for years, are Ameraucanas.

Or Americaunas. It's the hatchery term for mutt, which might lay eggs other than brown or white.

Well excuse me for not spending so much time proofreading all of my posts. Anyways, don't mind Katy people. I have been talking to some other people, and it seems as if she's just a downright bully, even almost harassing those people. Please just stop Katy. Please. Just. Stop.
I am well aware of the difference between a Auracauna, and EE, and an Americauna. No need to always bash people who refer to EE as Auracaunas.

Well, it wasn't just your spelling the breed wrong....you didn't even know what they were supposed to look like. Because I don't sugar coat or coddle people does not make me a bully. I don't think a whole bunch of kissy faces or huggy faces do anything to help a person out. You gave the OP of this thread WRONG information.....whether you will admit it or not.

I'm not listening to you anymore Katy. Apparently, there have been over 15 people complaining about you to one person! Just stop it, would you? You are acting like an internet troller.

Going back to the OP's original question ~ what breed are they.

They look a lot like my olive egger (EE) roos which were hatched from brown eggs laid by Cuckoo Marans hens covered by an Ameraucana roo. I hatched 3 black and 1 blue barred roos. The roos are "sex linked" and had barring, muffs and beards and the pullets are all black with muffs and beards.

I've been hoping to hear more about the "Barred Rock Cochin" in an earlier post. Sounds like an interesting breed.

They didn't hatch from brown eggs. I guess I should have been more specific than just normal color. What I meant is not green or anything like that. Since it was over 3 months ago I'm not 100% sure but I think the eggs were a light color. They may have had a blue tint I can't remember. But I know they weren't brown.
