Whatcha Making for Supper?

I did up some home grown chicken drumstick dumpling soup.

2 tablespoons butter. 1 tablespoon minced garlic. Some carrots. Green onion. Sprig of sage & tyme. Browned chicken quarters. Water. Boiled down. Strained & pulled meat.

Meat back in. Wet dumplings dropped in. Flour, milk, baking soda, chopped butter, salt, & milk.

Sea salt when served. Delicious!

The wife always runs through breast then thighs & doesn't know what to do with drumsticks.
 
:highfive: I don’t either! Same goes for pizza! I thought I hated pizza but it was the red sauce and greasy pepperoni!
I don’t like the ‘artificial’ supermarket-pizzas either, but the Italian pizza baker nearby makes great pizzas. My favourites are the veggie pizza with eggplant and zucchini, the one with buffalo-mozarella and basil + the spinach pizza with egg. He has a great delivery service. The restaurants are all closed bc of Covid over here. Maybe we order a few tomorrow.

Just had a crappie meal with leftovers and undercooked veggies bc mdh has a zoom meeting at diner time.
