Baked ham, sweet potatoes, sweet corn and a garden salad - still using 'my' tomatoes.
Sour, do you pick your tomatoes green at the end of the season and then ripen them somehow?

This happened to mine as well...I've been trying for the last few years to get it right...I'm just going to do salsa and sauces from now on, but there never seems to be enough ripening at the same time.Yes I did and put them in the cellar wrapped in newspaper. A bunch rotted, and I am now down to my last 6 ripening tomatoes.![]()

---I ate baked beans and bread rolls from last night for breakfast and lunch, and I ordered Hawaiian pizza and garlic fingers for supper.
Great idea! When I only have small groups ripe I will blanch, peel and freeze them. It helps if there is freezer room.
Great idea!
I'll definitely look into it next season. The volunteers took over my 'front garden' so bad this year that I just threw all the ones right back into the garden for the birds to eat. There will be hundreds next year.I forgot to put that you need to boil them a bit after peeling to stop them from going bad even while frozen. Be sure to follow instructions on processing for freezing.
