Whatcha Making for Supper?

I have leftover mashed potatoes so I got frozen chicken fried steak that comes with a gravy mix. Cheating I know but we both love those things and it’s dinner for two nights or else a nice addition to brekkie especially if there are biscuits! The gravy packet makes at least 2 cups of the stuff and we don’t like it too thick. I’ll fix a salad and some frozen veggies.

I searched ham hock recipes and with beans seems to be the most common way to make them...
They are a slightly sweetened dinner roll. We find them delicious. I made mine into tiny PB&J.

Tonight because it was a long busy day we had a mix of onion rings, breaded mushrooms, and breaded cheese curds tossed in the oven for a bit. Also had a salad.
That ALL sounds delicious.

I am still waiting for hubs to get home. He is running late. No matter his dinner is ready and won't be icky reheated a bit.

Thought I would share the cole slaw sauce recipe we like best here.

The recipe will handle half a small head of cabbage and a about a cup of shredded carrots. It is best served on day two so the sauce gets more into the cabbage.
