Whenever we have chicken for dinner, I tell my two house chickens, "Look away! Look away!"
Most of mine are out in the coop, but somehow I always wind up with 1-2 in the house. Q-Tip hurt her leg somehow and the others were attacking her, then Einstein started to limp, so we paired them up. They'll be with us until they can reacclimate in the spring. We use painter's face masks for diapers, which have become increasingly challenging to get because of covid. You had to hear me in Home Depot before covid really hit and they had no masks. I was like, "What am I supposed to tell my chickens???"I don't have house chickens, mine live in the backyard coop. I figure what they don't know, won't hurt them.
I'm thinking chicken burgers with fries and clam strips with tartar sauce tonight.
