I love making chilli with fried potatoes and cornbread with lots of butter.

Getting rid of leftovers I had poor man's chili. I mixed cooked pinto beans and ham with some chili powder and tomato paste and nuked it in the wave. Nothing special, but it filled the void.

For the next couple nights we're having Rassolnik, a pickle soup made with barley and beef. I made a big batch for visitors - too big, turns out. I have no regrets.
