Whatcha Making for Supper?

Dinner turned out to be an ordeal. Since I was making my own pita and wouldn't know until the last minute if it worked, I decided to also make a mushroom tortellini soup. All in all, making the pitas, tzatziki, soup and grilling the eggplant and bells, dinner took about 2 1/2 hrs to make! Good thing I started at 3!!! Well, I actually started the pita dough at 1:30, but then it just sat for an hour and half, so that hardly counts. All that and a nice Greek salad, and I'm both stuffed and exhausted. :th

I was going to ask you how it all turned out, it sounds like you were a busy bee in the kitchen! Hope you have leftovers and can relax today.

Leftover soup is going in the freeze dryer. I might have an eggplant pita for brunch instead of an egg.

Tonight I'm roasting a whole chicken. Haven't done that for a long time, but it is always so good. Mashed potatoes and corn for sides. Might as well make it an old fashioned dinner.
