Whatcha Making for Supper?

I think I miss Joe and Vinny's, and I've never been there! 😋
Before I was 14 (at which age we moved out of this neighborhood), there was a pizzaria like this where I grew up. I used to pass it on my way to the library. I remember stopping to stare through the big plate glass window in front and watch the guy toss and spin the big flat discs of dough that would become a pizza. It was fascinating. Like watching a magic show!

Oh, my Dorado tacos :)

I've got a trick I came up with a few weeks ago. The last time I made tacos.
Instead of building the taco ingredient by ingredient and having several piles of everything, I mix the lettuce, tomato (in this case Ro-Tel), onion, cheese and taco sauce in a bowl. Then just spoon it in on top of the meat.

Then, depending on how much leftovers of each I have, it will eventually become taco salad.
That’s a good idea!

The only thing worse than a pizza poor town is me trying to bake
Me and dough do not get along. Near as I can tell, after several failed attempts, is I'm too rough on the dough and create too much gluten.
Don’t give up if you really love pizza! There are a bunch of dough people here to consult with!

If you watch it and want to try it, I will send you my recipe which cuts his by 5 to make two pizza crusts. They are small, so we wanted two at a time.

I watched half of it.
Too much messing around for me. Starting it a day ahead, letting it rest, letting it rest...

I'm more of a Ken Click's stovetop biscuits for two guy :)

We are having Icelandic cod tonight. Have not decided how I will fix it yet.

Just a suggestion
Cod and carrots (with potatoes)

It's in my dinner rotation. I usually serve it over egg noodles.
