Sorry OP about the pool. I'd def. take it back, write the company & report false advertising.

You must have gotten that from the same company as my pool! I got my kids a 12' round, 40" deep pool, and they had 14 people with rafts on the picture!! We laughed heartily at the photo, because we knew that kid's head couldn't be *that* much bigger than his dad's...Like the giant 3 year old on the National Enquirer.

It was all photoshopped-in, and the shadows were all wrong, and people were all out of proportion. We kept the box around just to laugh at for a while!!

Emails about this have been circulating since 2002 and have since been debunked but continue to circulate. See http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/target.asp and http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/target.asp

You can go right to target's website and see what they support: http://sites.target.com/site/en/company/page.jsp?contentId=WCMP04-031700

on topic though, this pool scam has been going on for quite some time, the first I read about it was at http://consumerist.com/5031698/banzai-wild-waves-water-park-box-picture-vs-reality I really think there should be some recourse for the customers. That's an insane case of false marketing.
