What're your most indespensible kitchen gadgets?

As I was staggering to my coffee maker this morning it occurred to me that if I didn't have it I would be one sad camper. Then I started thinking about what else I couldn't do without, so I thought I'd put this query to the rest of you. What 2 things are essentials in your kitchen? Me?

1. Coffee maker, coffee and whole milk or half & half
2. A good set of sharp knives

two ain't enough... I have all the gadgets and toys and I won't stop there! hehe

but my cuisinart coffee maker with top loading coffee storage and burr grinder is wonderful, second handiest is Simon who brings me the coffee said machine makes at 5:30 every morning!

1) Huge pots / pressure cooker (for soup, pasta, rolled cabbage='stuffed cabbage')

2) Clay cooker / roaster
