**Whats a Good Bantam Breed??**

We have silkied and smooth feathered seramas, and they weathered last winter without a problem. Got down to -15 degrees, -25 windchill. They had a heat lamp I put in their coop when it got down to -15, but they handled 0 and colder just fine. Just keep them dry and out of the wind, and they do as well as any breed.

Now you have me jealous! I've been wanting Silkied Serama but I wont have any until my next shippment comes the week od sept. 5th.. right now I only have smooth an frizzle

I have to agree with what people have said: Cochins. Plymouth Rock bantams are great too. A lot of bantams can be a little fragile.

Check out MYPETCHICKEN, you can order a minimum of 3 chicks. You could get your silkies this way and then just find someone who'd like the other, so, order 4, and give to away...

But silkies are great as are faverolles.
