Whats a Silkie rooster worth???

I have more silkie roosters then I know what to do with and at some point I'm going to need to deal with it. Most are white and two are partridge. If I were going to sell them what do you think I could ask, would hate to have to givem away?

I dont know your area. I am having a hard time giving away my roos. I been trying for over 8 months now.

I think it all depends on the quality of the Silkie. My silkies I have came from two of the top breeders and I would sell them for quite a bit. If they came from a hatchery, I would sell them for less. Find a 4-H group and maybe you could donate them to a child who wants to show in your area??? Just an idea!

Well giving them away is not really what I wanted to here.

I guess giving them to 4H kid would be less painful.

I have a silkie roo that is going to the 4H fair to be sold. Maybe if there are any fairs you can bring them to. you may be able to get something?

You could say they are free and charge for shipping! Just an idea! I know your roos are worth more than that I am sure!

5.00 is a good solid set rate for rooster silkies
they are worthless. nobody wants a silkie roo. due to the luck everyone has they have too mant silkie roos...and why buy a silkie roo if you have some already? You cant eat them..
anyhow. 4.50-5.00 is a good get em away number
people would rather pay a low price and brag about how cheap they got them for than tell them sombody Donated the birds to them.
