Do you mean yogi tea doesn't exist in the states , or just that you don't have the choco chaï variety ?Beautiful! I have no idea what choco yogi tea is but the whole setting is so lovely I would probably enjoy any breakfast there!
I think it is just my ignorance.Do you mean yogi tea doesn't exist in the states , or just that you don't have the choco chaï variety ?
I've been mentioning yogi teas for month on this thread... It's a Sikh brand and since the sikh community is quite present in the US I never imagined I could be talking of some unknown tea brand.
Anyone willing to travel to our place is welcome. Truth be said I'm enjoying the last breakfasts outside- with a 34f forecasted on monday morning it will be over!
We also call yogi tea, infusions. The only thing that's not tea but called tea in France is rooibos, don't ask me why !I think it is just my ignorance.
The US is not really a tea drinking nation. Plenty of tea is drunk here, but to someone who grew up in a tea culture it is weak and of poor quality.
I also personally only use the word tea for infusions of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis).
Having looked up Yogi, they make infusions of herbs and spices which may well be both delicious and healthy, but I don’t really think of them as tea!
But now I understand what it is!
Interesting. I don’t drink coffee, but good tea is important for me. Fortunately it is not too hard for me to source the good stuff (mainly courtesy of friends and the postal service).Black tea, coffee, bread with ewe yogurt, tahini, honey, muesli with grapes, apples and vanilla soy drink.

We're not a tea culture either. It's possible to find good teas but they are expensive, same for coffee. Getting fair trade certified is a requirement for me and I prefer if it's organic, so the higher end tea that meets those criteria is out of my reach. So, I drink a Chinese copy of Sencha for green tea and a mix of tea "from Darjeeling" that isn't actually Darjeeling tea for black tea. They are not that bad, but nothing like the real thing.
