I'm on my first week of "Five a Day". That is, every day, eat five servings of fruits / vegetables. So far today I've had a banana smoothie, an apple, green beans, half a pear, and orange pepper strips.
This week I've gained 2 lbs. Try it - it'll make you cry!!!!!
Everytime I try to eat more healthy I gain weight. I give up. At 47 years old, it's all going south anyways. I want chicken but there is no where close that has decent chicken. Just fried garbage at McD's
My wife made me a stir fried rice dish consisting of wild rice, brown rice, pine nuts, carrots, corn, peas, garlic and a pork sausage cut in small pieces, I also had 3 apples from our tree.
I've been making egg dishes...hard to believe ehhh???
I made homemade biscuits with eggs, cheese, and bacon. Way better than McD's for sure and less fat. We are having custard pie this evening for dessert. Can't wait.
