What's killing my chicks? Hurry please

Are there any things in the brooder that could be exposing the chick to harmful chemicals? I've never personally lost a chick to chemicals, but it's possible
They are in a newer dog kennel from Good Will actually. It was a good deal and I needed one. I cleaned it out and all of their feeders and wateres. Everything in there has been tested by other chicks already except for the kennel.

It's your discretion to use the information the way you want to. It's just from my personal experience and extensive monitoring of my own chicks. And I've had 6 batches of chicks last year. All ended up health and strong.

Could you have bought sick chicks?
Have you lost any birds in your flock in the last few months?
No birds in my flock besides natural causes. I bought the healthiest largest chicks and checked them over thoroughly. The ones obviously on top of pecking order.

Thank you for the response! The heating pad is just perfect to my touch. It's called small animal heating pad and it's brown, I can send a link later, but it's on Amazon. I originally got it for my rabbits when they kindled in the winter.

I got the chicks from Family Farm and Home. I have gotten her to drink sugar water! But I feel it's just instinct to drink when she has water ... But we will see.
You're welcome. Ok, good. Then it sounds like the heating pad is ruled out.

Ok. Are they a Hatchery, or a distributor of another Hatchery? I don't think I've heard of them. How long have you had the chicks to when you started seeing a health problem? Ok, it's good she drank it. It should give her strength.

Thank you for your help, the chick is being heated right now.
