What's kind of chicken egg?

    Hi guys, my hens laid their first egg. I have two hens and one rooster but I'm not sure which hen laid the egg[​IMG] I try looking it up but I'm not sure which one it is my two hens are a rode island red and a domincker. Here's a picture to help you!! Thanks for the help!![​IMG]

    My guess is that it belongs to your RIR - mine laid eggs that looked just like that, including the speckles. Hope you enjoy many more!

    I also would guess your red. The chicken chart I have shows egg color can vary for them, more likely than the doms...

    With that being a first egg, the color will probably level out after the reproductive system works it's kinks out. Speckled eggs are awesome looking!
