whats the diffrence between these breeds or just the names?

Cinnamon Queen, red star, red sex link, golden comet is their really any diffrence in these breeds other than the name is any a better layer feed-egg confersion better i read they are all sex links so i figured it was a just a gimmick to get ppl to buy diffrent named birds that are purdy much the same?

i got 32 red sex link pullets i want em for high egg production hope the 20 sex link roos i got with em will get bigg enuff to roast in 5 months also how long does it take sex links to lay i no my leghorns start to lay at 18-20 weeks what about the red sex links? i got from welp hatchery

My dad has some Red sex links, his started laying about 15 to 16 weeks old. I think I read somewhere that it is usually15 to 20 weeks when they star laying, depending on the cross that they came from.

I prefer just calling them Red sex-links and Black sex-links. Makes it SO much simpler!

Or if I want to shorten it a little, then red and black stars. Even though there are many breed combinations that can make sex-linked babies, I still don't feel the need for so many names!

amen to that mary wow i cant imagin already laying at 15 weeks old thats earlier than my leghorns
