What's the earliest you've ever had a chick hatch?

It's day 18 for my easter egger/leghorn egg. I went to check on my broody, and i saw that the egg was pecked. I started freaking out, thinking that maybe my hen had accidentally broken it. But then I realized, maybe she's just an early hatcher? So if you lovely people could tell me your experiences with early birds, that would be great thanks in advance!

I have had one hatch on Day 19 before. It will be interesting to see what others' experiences have been.

I've had them pip on day 18 & hatch on day 19, especially bantams. And if it has been pretty hot outside then they are likely to be early from under a broody.

Our first hatch pipped at day 18, hatch day 19. It was a RIR that turned out to be a roo. He is now dubbed big bird good luck, and congrats!
