What's the most annoying internet / texting abbreviation or word?

I don't like these when people use them in post or email it just detracts from the message.

U instead of You
R instead of Are
TTYL instead of Talk to you later
BRB instead of Be right back

I do not like the statement "My Bad" I even hear adults using this one.

And in my day a couple was "going together" today it's they are "going out"

I'm glad I am not the only gamer around these parts.

My husband, Boaz, started a thread the other night in which he posted a beatutifully written, eloquent letter from a Civil War soldier to his wife. He mentioned in his thread that it would be hard to imagine this soldier typing it out with his thumbs in text language:

At the time he posted the letter, we had been talking about this very issue - the lack of social skills in today's youth - the inability to communicate properly - the inability to have a real and meaningful relationship, focused on the other person and not self - the inability to use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

I worry about what will become of the future generations especially since my daughter just recently had my first grandchild. What sort of social grace and manners will be in existence when she's ready to go out into the world?

Or mine, I find I'm pushing spelling harder due to the lack of spelling I see.

I hate, hate, hate the letter k for ok. How difficult is it to type out two letters? Worse, I have heard my children answer one another with the word, k. I got after them for basically lazy speech.
