What's the most annoying internet / texting abbreviation or word?

Unfortunately for me, 75% of my coworkers have a cell phone texting during breaks at work or receiving while working. And I am not just talking about kids either! I am 36 and my boss, who has to be in his late 40's early 50's is just as bad. I credit him as being a man who wants to fit in with the younger crowd, as he frequently is texting his college age daughters, and uses the words OMG, you rock dog, my bad and so forth. The first time I got called Dog, I knew it was not bad, as I had heard him use it before to others, and have since learned its like "homies". He has many of our coworkers on his cell phone and when he asked me if I had one, I said I do but I do not text. I CALL people. My husband does too.

KK bugs me, but I hate My Bad...

Also, I just hate the lack of the respect. I have a male friend who was once a boy friend when we were very young and he is 27 years old and still IMing me with "Yo" as his opening line. I want to slap him and most times just ignore him. I think I would fall over and die if I got an IM from him that said "Hello Jenna, how has your day been so far?"

Instead I get "Yo, wassup?"

GROW UP!!!

Thus why he is an EX boyfriend and was never husband material and wouldn't you know, he's still single!!!!

Or mine, I find I'm pushing spelling harder due to the lack of spelling I see.

Thank You

we need more teachers that will continue to teach this way instead of trying to be politically correct.

I do not allow my son to text i tell him if you want to talk to someone call them.
I stress to him all the time the importance of social contact and communicateing in person.

DH and I text message and msn all the time if we want to talk about something and dont want the kids to hear what we are talking about... and the really bad part it we will text and msn while we are both in the same room

Our family texts a fair bit because not everyone can take calls at work, but most can text. A text is also easier to check than voicemail if you are busy and can't get the phone ... we all get mad if someone leaves a voicemail

I hate when I get texts that have no proper grammar or punctuation. Im still a teen, but I text full sentences and use my periods, commas and whatever else is needed. It helps that I have the iPhone because it corrects most things for me.

Says the person who JUST used 'r'...

I usually don't use them a lot, sometimes I use 'lol' because it can seem a bit ackward to say 'haha', depending on the conversation.

I know some people say 'L' for lol now, because they're too lazy to even use the slang.

something that annoys me is when people use baby talk 'otay' 'pwease' etc. Its like holy hell, get a life.
