What's the most you've spent on a pair of shoes?

maybe $50 on sneakers. I buy most shoes at Walmart or Payless Shoes. I dont wear dress shoes enough to justify a lot of money for them. Oh I lie, last summer I bought a pair of Keds from a catalog for $65 only because thats the style I like for the summer and the brand will last longer than cheap.

For shoes, meh, probably around $70 for good, comfy non skid soles when I used to be a waitress...
For boots, now you're talking like $150 for my Danner Steel Toes and $140 for my Scent Blocker Bone Collectors (Not at the same time, of course)

The most I have ever spent on shoes was probably in the $300 range. I am really a "shoe person" though. I never spend money on clothes. I have no qualms about wearing second hand clothes or the cheapest of Wal-mart clothes. I spend *maybe* 20-30 bucks a year on clothes. Shoes though, I think are worth the extra expense. I became addicted to good shoes after working at Nordstrom for several years. I can't stand being uncomfortable/in pain on my feet. Good leather shoes can last for YEARS. I have some that are like easily ten years old and still in great condition. So worth it in the long run. Now, I get most of my shoes at Nordstrom rack because I can usually find something in the $30-50 range that was originally 4-5 times that.

The most expensive shoes were $65 and they broke 3 weeks later... My cheapest were $.50 from a yard sale and I still have them 3 years later

My most expensive shoes are $60 cowboy boots that my mom bought for me since i show horses. The most ive paid is around $40 for dress shoes at DSW, from now on i'll only buy shoes from there.
