I think my Norwegian Jaerhons are probably my most rare

I wanted those this year. Are yours hardy? I read that they "lay like heck for three years then die"?

Mine haven't started laying yet, but a lady who brought them from Norway gave them to me after I got two batches of sick/dead ones from Ideal. She's had hers for years and years, so I've got my fingers crossed!

Also not really rare but I ordered two frizzle Easter eggers and both ended up getting the frizzle gene. So 50/50 chance getting the frizzle and I lucked out and both ended up being frizzles

Greenfire Farms! The Deathlayer is in the first picture too. I have a bit of trouble getting decent pictures of them because although they're more friendly than some of the others, they still haven't been socialized enough because they're being raised by my hen

Are they worth the price? They are beautifull, but thats a lot.
