Lugged another 25 lb.bag of ice melter down to the basement. Just 2 more bags to go.

Funny how men disappear when there is work to be done.

Now have to lug 4- 25 lb. bags of ice melter to the basement - they freeze solid in the garage.

What is ice melter? And is it ice melter if it itself freezes?

By frozen solid in the garage ( below freezing temps in the garage) I mean they form one big solid lump. However if you smack the bag with something heavy - they come apart into the crystals they are supposed to be.

Not unlike bags of brown sugar for baking, they form one hard lump stored in the cabinet. Have to break those down with a mixing spoon when using them to make cookies, etc.
