Residents feel 'forgotten' as floodwaters recede across south-east Queensland​

There's been widespread flash flooding due to intense rainfall between the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast over the past 48 hours, which the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) expects to ease from Wednesday.

Emergency services received 700 calls over the past two days and over 20 swift-water rescues were conducted.
