What's the temperature where you are???

Tornadoes are hard thing to not be afraid of. For 8 years I lived in southern CA in Palmdale right on the san andreas fault and felt a couple small earthquakes then moved back to the east coast . No likey quakes

I completely understand. I'm a native Angeleno and I'll always be a California girl no matter where I live but I went through a terrible experience with the 1994 Northridge quake and I left California soon after that.

It's hot and dry where I live now but I can go to sleep with the expectation that the ceiling and walls will still be in the same place when I wake up!

The chooks were quite high when being rescued, so I'm guess they were probably ok. No further mention was made of them, so it's only a guess. Brown snakes are quite venomous - I certainly wouldn't want to be swimming with them. 😱
Just reading it had me on the edge of my seat! But I am so glad she and her son were ok, such scary things. we don’t have poisonous snakes here (well only one species), we do have bears and other interesting predators though.
