What's the temperature where you are???

What is crazy is that it is 60 degrees warmer than it was just a few short weeks ago! Going to be mid to upper 40s here today. Not bad for the 3rd day of February in the Midwest! The snow has been slowly disappearing (we had 2 feet on the ground). Makes everything muddy, but hopefully it is soaking into the ground. We are terribly dry here.

I take it you normally get a lot of snow and cold out there? It’s incredibly mild here, and hardly any snow. But we have had a lot of rain. I am sure ground moisture will be an issue here this Spring for farmers.

My parent spent about 23 winters in Yuma, I visited many times and very much enjoyed the vastness of the deserts, though I was surprised at how chilly and rainy it can be in the winter there!

My silkies are hilarious in the wind - poor wee things get tumbled sometimes. I keep them inside when it’s windy. Maybe I can zip tie some paver bricks to hold them down 😳
