Micro Full Moon on February 24

We’re having a few months of Micro Full Moons and Super New Moons—this is the reason why a solar eclipse on April 8 will be total, not annular.

This photo was taken by my son yesterday. He lives 30mins south of me, and txt me saying the rain and small hail was sideways.

Scorching temperatures expected next week as heavy rain falls on NSW and Queensland this weekend

Wet weekend ahead for Queensland and northern NSW

New South Wales was lashed by intense thunderstorms on Friday, fuelled by hot air and high moisture levels.

After Goulburn was struck by a gust of 111kph just after 1pm and 30mm fell in Currarong in just 60 minutes, the storms then moved north towards Sydney from about 5pm.
