Yak's are not something I've seen here. Buffalo, elk...that's about it. I don't know where I'd even find them.
The cattle are more "hubby's" thing. The cattle are pretty good with winter. It's more us who aren't so good with it any more.
People here in the spring people be sporting shorts and flip flops when it warms to -10 with the sun shining.
(I did my chicken chores with no outerwear for the last two days...just holey sweats and a sweater)
But then I was dying from heat+humidity in Cancun and the lady working there was in a full suit and she was cold.
It's all relative to what we're used to.
Forecast was saying we're "supposed to get down to -38C actual temps and the 12th. We wouldn't have had school either. But I see it's now -30C. That's better. "whew!"IDK know but it snowed and we're not going to school!!!
