Oh it snowed last night, but not enough to cover the grass. It's windy 15 mph, cloudy. Flurries expected, but...

32F now, and that's our high for today.

It's the wind that bothers them. They could come out, but by the time I got back to the house half of them went back inside the coop.

That's the new 12x20' breeding coop behind it. About 75% done.
Fast forward a few hours and the wind picked up to 40 mph. Seven of them had come up to the house. We bundled up and hauled them back. They had become "snowbound" up here and wouldn't have been able to get back on their own, although one rooster made it. He ran fast though lol.

Mine treat snow like evil white lava! The do not like walking on it all all! Such wimps 😊

Mine start out like that but that's only for a few minutes. Hubby makes them paths when the snow gets too high. This was last winter.

That wasn't much snow but they still wanted paths. They'd follow him lol. When it gets a couple feet high, they still come out as long as there are paths.
