Your area need rain.
My area need a break from rain. Some of our state water catchments are full or above 80%. As we have more rain, they will start to release those water from these catchments into the river and out to sea.

I remember one time I was listening to the radio and it says the weather is sunny while I was looking out my window and it was raining at the time. I thought....what planet he is reporting from?

Thursday 12th of December 8.50a.m. Sunny, blue and cool. Ive had the flanny pjs back on at nite and even wore a wool jumper to walk the dogs yesterday. 9.3 / 9.3kph ESE, Hg 42%, dew point is 15.3C / 68.5F, 20.3C / 68.9F top of 26C / 79F. Sunny.

Moon is 84.7%

Using airports to measure temperature is silly and manipulative IMO.


Perth is experiencing its first heatwave of the summer, as the city surpassed 40 degrees Celsius for the first time since February.

A low to severe intensity heatwave has been dominating large parts of the state's central and southern regions since Sunday, slowly expanding further south.

Perth hit a top of 40.4C on Wednesday afternoon, making it the hottest day since since last summer, while the warm low overnight of 21.7C was about five degrees above the December average minimum.

The hottest temperatures in WA were from south of Geraldton to the Central West, Central Wheatbelt and the northern and eastern parts of Perth.

Gingin Airport has recorded the state's highest maximum with 43.1C just before 2pm.

Pearce airstrip clocked 43C / 109F, the Swan Valley reached 42C and Perth Airport 41.9C.

It's still a few degrees off the December record, which was recorded at 44.2C on Boxing Day in 2007.

46° and clear. Weather is usually a guess for the long range but right now the guess is no more freezes until after Christmas. Some frost maybe but no freezes.

I want frizzy high humidity hair! 65% humidity indoors for me!

I have my humidifier running all night these days to help with the dry air from the furnace running.
