What happened to Queensland's " Beautiful one day, perfect the next" mantra?

We had 32C yest, bombed to 18C today, and looks like showers all week. :(
Oh, that mantra is ......I have long forgotten about the Beautiful one day, perfect the next with so much rain, humidity, heat...etc.. Now you mention it bring smile to my face.
Just hot, humid, rain and hot..etc.. so it goes on of same. We had a bit of rain last night and it looks like it will rain today as the sky is cloudy.
18C is nice, but horrible with all that rain. I don't mind when it rains at night.
What can one do with the heat, but head of to the beach if one can. I can not wait for winter to come around.

I just went outside to observe and make observation of what today weather might be.
The sky is cloudy, but the cloud is slowly breaking away by the light wind. The air is cool, some humidity. We had light rain last night.
I say we will have another hot day as the cloud is moving away. In summer season, a perfect blue sky means very hot, and dry heat.
There is a possibility of light rain.
Today, another hot day for sure and light sun rain.

So Far my favorites are
~floating suv and the way it turns around like a tank
~monorail train ( Disney world even rode with driver many times over the years and also when my sons were younger until they stopped letting you ride up front )

Look out Jetson’s here we come
I loved the car shaking the snow off hahahaha brilliant.
Sydney had a monorail for many years. It was fun to ride and dropped you off at all major shopping points. There was huge public backlash when it was removed from service. Now they have driverless ground trains taking ppl around.

Winter blast of snow, ice and wind grips US from Midwest to east coast

A winter blast of snow, ice, wind and plunging temperatures in the United States has created dangerous travel conditions from the central and southern states to the east coast.

The extreme conditions prompted schools and government offices in several states to close early on Monday, local time.

Snow and ice blanketed major roads across Kansas, western Nebraska and parts of Indiana, where the state's National Guard was activated to help stranded motorists.

At least 20 centimetres of snow was expected, along with gusting winds up to 72 kilometres per hour.

Maryland declares state of emergency

"Keeping Marylanders safe is our top priority. Please stay off the roads during this storm. Prepare your home and family and charge your communications devices in case you lose power," Mr Moore said in a statement.

Car wrecks proliferate as storm hits

Over the weekend, at least 600 motorists were stranded in Missouri, authorities said.

"We see far too many wrecks out there for people that do not have to be on the roads, so I want to ask: Stay inside," Mr Beshear said.

Virginia State Police reported at least 135 crashes as the storm entered the state on Sunday.

In Charleston, West Virginia, authorities urged motorists to stay home.

In Kentucky, Louisville recorded 19.5cm of snow on Sunday, a new record for the date that shattered the previous mark of 7.6cm set in 1910.
