I carry a tall stick to clear webs from my path. Spiders quickly learn to make their webs higher up.

I'm waiting for the temp to go down so I can go outside. It's 80° in my home right now. I'm turning on the A/C.

I am hoping they stop doing it everywhere, I think it’s dumb. But it does remind me that spring is coming !

7 Pm 23F with the humidity at 41%. So cold and dry I'm being zapped by every metal object I touch, even the corner bead on the open arches are giving it to me.

I do long distance hiking and we call the first people on the trails in the mornings "web walkers" because they clear the webs for everyone else, intentionally or not.

I use a hiking pole to clear webs in the mornings, just swing it up and down in front of me as I go. It must look weird to anyone who doesn't know what I'm doing but it's no fun walking along and suddenly there's a spider on your face. Then you flip out and people REALLY wonder what's up with you.

My mother was a 'web jogger' and gave up the stick; she would return home and shake several spiders from her hair instead lol

Mid April is that when the snow starts melting

Depends on the year. Last winter we only had about 2 snow events. It was super mild and rainy. Year before we had snow and cold but nothing eggciting- maybe 6” on the ground total, frost was out of the ground mid March and the Northern Peepers (frogs) were out chirping by mid March - that’s very early, do t normally hear them till mid April.

This year I bet the snow will be here until mid March at least- likely end of March - frogs won’t be out until mid April.

Also the Barn Swallows usually arrive first of May, last year it was beginning of April! I was lucky I noticed the wee monkey flying around. I opened the barn door for it to get in and roost at night. It went right to its nest better trained then the chooks haha.

Then in the summer here, the US fire crews come up here to help us with our fires

-12C, I don't know if I can live with that cold. I have never ever experience that cold weather, our winter is might be just like spring or summer to the US. April comes quickly! Let there be warm sunshine.

We are feeling Autumn already, just the early morning and late night cool air. That is how Autumn approaches over here, cold morning and night, day is still super hot, around April the weather is almost Autumn. It is beautiful Autumn weather.

This morning it was -17c brrrrr! It was chilly.

Summers here last about 6 weeks of really hot humid weather (normally) temps around 30C and humidity around 80%.

Spring and Autumn can be nice or miserable. I bet this spring will be miserable.
