What's the temperature where you are???

Wow! The gulf coast beaches are gorgeous. They are on my list to visit.

I've been to Birmingham and the Tallageda National Forest. Loved it there. I met very nice people everywhere I went in Alabama.
We grew up playing of Gulf Coast beaches down around Bradenton and Sarasota, FL. Now we just go south to Destin.

85° at 1:30 P.M. 3% humidity. In February.

Destin is also on my list! Look at all that beautiful white sand. 😍

When things have calmed down here a bit I'm taking a little driving trip along the coast to check out some of these areas. I keep putting it off because it's hard to get away for a few months at a time but I'm really looking forward to it.

Oh how I wish it was 85 here 🤣
Gah. It should be in the 50s and 60s. This time is supposed to be our reprieve from the hell months, not a preview of them. These are April temps.

We need a break and we haven't had much this season. Even October was in the triple digits so no work could be started outside until November.

We only have a short time we can be outdoors in the desert and it's quickly running out. I need this time to build a new coop and work on the yard and on the roof and the outside of the house. I shouldn't be sitting indoors in February with a glass of ice water and the A/C on. What a waste. :barnie

Mississippi River
I visited the same place twice
The first time they said it was low tide and we walked down at an angle and walked a good bit out into the river and it was still shallow
The second visit you could not walk down
the water was right there
you could jump in and swim if you wanted to
That was amazing to know that the last time I was there we had walked so far out
