Hey whoop whoop, not Perth but Far North Queensland, going from sub tropical to tropical!

Oh my word even hotter - air con air con - even for chooks

Oh yes, it does warm up...eventually.

In March the snow will be melting away and we'll be a muddy mess.

We're not in bear country although the rare bear does saunter through. I don't want see a bear...they might break into my coop and hurt a chicken.

We just layer up our clothes and we're good to go. Or, when it's really cold hopefuly we're just smart enough to stay home.

At least there's no bugs right now. There's an upside to everything...lol.

You are lucky to have some warm clothes our winter is short and cold but they don't really cater for it - I boughrt lots of warm clothes back from UK for us when I was there so this year hopefully we will be warmer when it does eventually get cold. One thing you can't get is warm decent slippers and I need my feet warm if nothing else

Our winter is normally March/April - August/September depending on the weather - June and July are mid winter and can get to -4c but not often. It is very sunny and very very dry but gets very cold at night sometimes causing heavy frost, so have to cover all the plants in frost bags. I read somewhere that it is classed as 'semi desert' weather conditions.
