What's the temperature where you are???

It's overcast and windy and in the mid-80s. Chicken delights today are frozen peas, sprouted wheat grass seeds, and Greek yogurt.

We've been granted a reprieve of six days from the hell temps. After that they go right back up and will stay up until November.

I'm working like a madwoman to get as much done over the next six days as humanly possible (please, God, do not let my back go out 🙏).

I asked craiyon to draw a picture of a crazy blonde woman running through the desert (me) to represent the next six days and it made this. Check out those funky leggings! 🤣

The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) says two weather events are expected to bring more heavy rain, flash flooding, and weeks of isolation for some communities already affected by floodwater.

SES Commissioner Mike Wassing said northern NSW could expect heavy rain to fall on already saturated catchments over the next 24 to 72 hours, bringing fast river rises and flash flooding.

He said some communities in western parts of the state could be isolated for more than two months.

"The significant rainfall in Queensland is slowly making its way through the catchment and moving through western New South Wales," Mr Wassing said.

"We are talking of isolation potentially for six to 10 weeks for some of those communities."

He said there were 20 warnings in place from the coast to the west of the state.

"We have 750 SES members already pre-deployed to those areas," he said.

When will this rain ever stop?

Raining over here again!
We had 2 days of no rain and now it is back again.
I pray for the rain to move to the area that are dried.
I wish you could send it to us! We probably won't see any rain for another four or five months. The "rainy season" here keeps getting shorter and shorter. When I moved here 25+ years ago it would begin in late June or early July. We'd get huge storms every afternoon around 3:00 or 4:00 P.M. That happened through September. It was a hard rain that temporarily flooded out everything, with lots of lightning and thunder.

This underpass in downtown Tucson used to be famous for filling up and draining nearly every day during monsoon season.

Now we're lucky to get just a few storms between August and September. 🤔😕

I feel for you, we have had nothing but miserable weather since last November.

Hopefully both of us can get some nicer weather soon!

Yes, I call the winter months a roller coaster ride and sometimes in fall and occasionally in early spring

You never know if you will be wearing shorts with the air conditioner on or a heavy coat or something in between on thanksgiving Christmas New Year’s Day
Sounds extremely changeable. Hard to know what to do in those situations. Hopefully your summer weather won’t be too humid for you.
