Such good news about DH and about the cats and chooks.

Many, many moons ago we moved from Cape Town to Jo'burg. I remember the panic, the boxes and once we got on the plane the dreadful thought that I had forgot something.

Anyway the 'Animal Traveller' people said to me that it would be a good idea to get the vet to give the cats something to calm their anxiety, because although they load up animals first, they spend sometime on the tarmac waiting to go in the cargo hold and with all the plane engines and noise it can make them very anxious and becuse they are caged and have no where to run, they panic.

I did this and they zzzz for the whole trip and were fine when we did actually arrive. In fact they were on the same plane! Apparently dogs can handled it better, but I did them as well. Just a thought. xx
