I've been in that type of weather. It will chill you to the bone.Currently it's 44 f. I wish it would rain because then it would warm up
It’s over my boots trudging to the barn.I would stop the snow if I could! I am over it too!![]()
It's not that bad for me. It keeps me limber.Unfortunately... that means I'm crawling around in the coop on "all 4's".
But I'm no spring chicken either...It's not that bad for me. It keeps me limber.
It happens...It’s over my boots trudging to the barn.
I had to dig a path to the manure pile to empty the wheelbarrows, my trough de-iced keeps blowing a fuse.
I had to also remove the snow from this stupid idiotic fabric sheds they sell here (WHY?!!!! They are not rated for the snow load here!!), I told my mum don’t use them. But no she had to put her $&@“ in them and told me I had to put the rootin tootin lawn tractor in one not the garage!
I am so done with snow and cold, I already told her I am moving to Vancouver Island next year, at least one doesn’t have to shovel rain. She can come if she wishes otherwise I am sure she will enjoy living with my sister (not!).
Currently:
-4C (25F) under a snow squall warning for 30 - 50cm of more evil white stuff - lovely.

Only 165 more days until May Two four weekend - our unofficial start to better weather….
Edit: my apologies for being a grumpiloo.
The doors are double cardboarded.Exactly. I learned a lot after a couple winters of -50 temps. My coop is triple cardboarded.
I'm still pretty spry at 59...It's all about airflow.
Mine too. I was wearing Sorels, so I need to wear the taller ones. It’s over my boots trudging to the barn.
