30F and going DOWN supposed to get days of freezing drizzle, sleet - what's the difference?- and maybe channeling into snow. When you sleep most of the day, who cares?

31.6F not as bad as I thought. Some coating of ice but, I'll just nap till it goes away.
I think it's Saturday 11:41 am. Was up till 4:30 am waiting for my son to come home.

I lock him out because if strange noises wake me from a sound sleep, I am liable to react in 'Danger Mode' and come out swinging with anything I can grab - long shoe horn, yard
stick, large wrench I found when I was out walking.

He has to call from the driveway and then I go and let him in. Safer for both of us.
