My son just came in from WA. I get ten days of his company. We got more more rain but not even a flake of snow. Must be global warming, they are saying we will have 40-50's as highs and 20-30's as lows.

Grass around here is still green

42c (107.6f) @ 5.30 pm, Allowed to go out now and soak the dirt for the chickens. Soaked it this morning, but it didn’t stay wet for long.

Getting real windy now and the power is flickering.

Well in the time it took me to write the above post...about 10 minutes....the temperature has plummeted more than 10 degrees and we have been enveloped in smoke. ..not sure what is happening now
