It is a running joke about my town, that there is a magnetic force that pulls the rain clouds away

Oh no this looked so Promising, we have had warnings all day...and we got nothing...a big fat nada...

this circled area was what we were expecting...so disappointed, no thunder, no lightning, no rain, no hail....nothing at all

Hopefully you get some rain. We did but not nearly enough. As far as I know we had a few more fires break out cause of the thunderstorms this morning

We got a bit of rain and thunderstorms but that only lasted till like 11am this morning then it stopped and now it’s muggy and hot

Oh it was so muggy wasnt it, it was awful, we had it forecast all day, you could feel it in air, but nothing... it is trying to rain now, just sprinkling, most we have had all day.

We would have loads of water if we got all the radar said we would get. We were on level 5 extreme water restrictions for about 4 years a few years back and we got used to seeing the rain radar tease us with storms, only to take it away as it got close to town. It was terrible, but sadly, we got used to it, it has become a town joke the “magnetic rain dome”

9.30pm and it is 18c (64.4f) drizzle is all we are getting, should not complain, at least it is something. Other areas got drenching rains but I want some of that too..not fair.

today was our best chance of rain, so we can expect the “possible shower/thunderstorms“ forecast over the next few days to be fizzers.
