Why was spring early?

Yes, spring equinox came early this year, at 11:50 pm EDT on March 19.
It's the earliest spring equinox in 124 years. GC

The rain and snow have taken a pause... the sun is shining and it feels SO wonderful!!
It's 61ºF and calm...
But the clouds are building in the distance. I'll enjoy the break while it lasts.

I'm in No. Central West Virginia...it was -11 (that's not a typo, yes MINUS 11 Degrees) this morning! I hope I don't find chicken-pops when I go to feed and water this morning!

Yesterday, the radio said Alaska was averaging 40 degrees, it was -5 here at the time! I don't like the heat, but this is CRAZY COLD!

How frozen are you guys???

It was 80 yesterday, and barely 50 today.

Sure praying it doesn't frost because all the fruit trees are bloomed out. We had 4" rain last 2 days.
