Currently: 71.5F [22C]

Predicted maximum: 91.5F [33C]

Does it get colder during your winter? Just curious. A balmy 16F here at 2:40 pm

Hey there oldhenlikesdogs

We are humid subtropical and in winter overnight temps can occasionally drop to 43F [6C] or slightly lower but on average I think would hover around the 52F [11C] range overnight.

It is uncommon for our maximum temp, even in winter, to be below 68F [20C]

I am sweating just listening to that, I get hot over 65F degrees. Thanks for always doing the conversation of F to C, I never learned that in school. I guess I won't be moving to Australia in the near future.

Today was -10 degrees. Coldest day ever on Cape Cod.
I'm in the middle of building my coop and got a few more boards up today when the sun came out.

Yeah, I have to be honest, it can sometimes get a bit draining and the heat/humidity makes it difficult to consider really doing much at all. It is not so bad if you have the occasional higher temp day but we recently had 7 or so days in a row in the 93-98F [34-37C] range with afternoon storms and it takes it's toll on both humans and chickens and both tend to get cranky

I just use Google for the conversion but I find if very helpful for me also. It has helped me to get an idea of what your temps are in comparison to us. As we work in Celcius, up until I started the conversions, I would have had no idea what 65F really meant. Anything with a minus in front of it was a good guide though
