Its 52* here in kensett arkansas...and I just put 11 chicks outside in a raised cage with a tarp over it...the only bulb I had to use for a heat lamp was a 100w standard light bulb...reckon they will be ok they were hatched at thanksgiving and have a great deal of feathers. Ive not put and outside before and just am not sure I did the right thing... Will they be ok?

When I raised chickens they didn't go outside until they were 2 & 1/2 months old and heat lamp was still used if night was cool
