What's the temperature where you are???

12c at 4.30pm “feels like” 5c, is trying to rain, will settle the dust. Desperately need the rain to fall up north. the fires are so bad up there

This is our fire map for our state.

Blue means controlled fire.

Yellow means fire is out of control and to “watch and act”

Red means out of control, “emergency warning” get out if you can, some are “shelter in place” as it is too late to leave.

there are currently 15 red ones, the winds are so bad. This is so sad. We are quite a ways away, we are below the bottom of the map, so we are fine. Feel so bad for the people in these areas.

I saw those fires on the BBC news a few minutes ago! How horrible! Right through a koala sanctuary! Just devastating!

18.6C @ 4.15 pm. With gale force winds

monday - 26 with gale force winds
Tuesday -32 with gale force Winds
Wednesday -18
Thursday -22

Saturday -27

the whole state is under a total fire ban for Monday and Tuesday.

We are listed as “severe” fire danger for Tuesday, only 200 hundred km’s away, they are listed as “catastrophic”.

we have spent the day cleaning out the gutters, doing a general rubbish clean up, doing as much preventative fire prep as We can.

Not even summer yet and it is this bad already.
