I had to put a new blade on my chainsaw to fix a broken fallen branch which is odd as it survived hurricane Hanna just recently. Winds have been calm for the last 24 hours. I have suspicions that my jerk neighbor was involved. At least he threw the bits back over my fence. I should write a thank you note as no way in the world I am stepping foot on a psycho's property in Texas. I'm going to invest in a trail camera now just to be sure.

I've had neighbors like that in Chicago, they poisoned our dog but the vet saved him. Left Chicago over 50 years ago and never, ever missed it or wanted to go back for any reason.

My adult son believes TV and newspaper etc.news is fake designed to sell more papers.

He didn't get those ideas from family or relatives. I wonder if that's what college taught him. His college was in a neighborhood where women where often assaulted. A student in his dorm was found dead - never found out what killed him.

He & his girlfriend are coming out, she wants to see Chicago. OY! Worse yet she wants to see it at night. To be fair Chicago covers a very large area and there are good areas as well as bad. But I guess the good areas are too boring to explore.
