Second day with high temperatures. Day before yesterday it was hot. 94 yesterday and 88 in the shade. Monday we lost a hen. Not sure what happened but others are fine. When I found her there was no blood. I checked her out and didn't see any stuck egg at all. She was not stiff either so it must of happened right before I went to check for eggs. In hot temps everyone needs to check in coop often. I filled three containers of water today about three times. Watering the ground down with cold water does help. Ours go behind a tree in the run for shade. I did checks lots of times yesterday. All fine as of right now.
