It's beyond 'bone dry' here! Had a disturbance in the Gulf come on shore South of Corpus Christi on Sunday. Only got 1/10" out of the tropical waves We had 52 consecutive days of triple digit temps until then but it was still 98-99°F....WOW!!! It did actually feel cooler!
