23hrs ago: Heatwave warning - my first time seeing such a warning:

Maximum temperatures in the low to mid forties, reaching the mid thirties over higher terrain. Overnight minimum temperatures in the mid to high twenties, reaching the high teens to low twenties over higher terrain. Severe heatwave conditions are continuing across much of NSW over the next few days, contracting to smaller, localised areas later in the week.Severe heatwave conditions are no longer occuring over the South Coast District (because it didn't happen lol).

Moon is at 3% New Moon period - 9 days of good fishing :)

8.09p.m. Tuesday | New Moon period update:

Hazardous Surf Warning for New South Wales

Issued at 4:06 PM EDT on Monday 11 Dec 2023.
Surf and swell conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, boating, and swimming in the following areas.

Another Heatwave Warning is up and running ...

  • Severe heatwaves can be dangerous for many people, especially older people, babies, children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, people with medical conditions and people who are unwell.
  • Seek a place to keep cool, such as your home, a library, community centre or shopping centre.
  • Close your windows and draw blinds, curtains or awnings early in the day to keep the heat out of your home.
  • If available, use fans or air-conditioners to keep cool. (people can't figure this out! hahhaaha)

This sounds like Texas in the summer. I think we had heat warnings nearly daily for several months. I dread summer……
Stay cool!
