Severe storms across Australia's east coast have claimed the lives of six people, including a young girl.

Over 800 power lines are down in SE Queensland. 110 000 homes without power. Roofs torn off. Some crazy weather, that's for sure.

Been in the 40s today and eerily foggy all day long.




Tomorrow we get rain, it'll rain 2 days but I don't think we will get 5 inches in 12 hours this time, thank goodness.
Makes one appreciate the sunshine all the more. Winter weather really hasn't hit us yet, usually we will see freezing Temps and possibly a snow storm producing "feet" of snow, Feb or March. Not really looking forward to that. With wind creating snowdrifts, it can be a real hassle, especially if we literally get snowed in...drifts piled against both front & back doors, yeah, what fun to try and get out to care of the flock, but ya know I do!
